What you think about Gender is your choice.

Is it my genitals, what I wear, how I act? Is it fixed? Who makes that choice?

We look at somebody and we assume their gender and if we can't tell, we get confused.

Confusion, a phase you are thought to grow out of.

Tight roping between an awkward boy and an apologetic girl.

Waiting for everyone else to go first.

I did not know at that time, what I wanted.

Shame lingering on, like an after taste.

Brutality of becoming an asterisk at the bottom of the equality page.

I feel not human, more ghost than flesh, more feared than accepted.

When you invite me, I will come.

I will become the festival of your joy.

You will take from me, shred by shred, until you shove me back into the dark corner fragmented.
